Over the past year, we have been working closely with Pearce Construction on the regeneration of the South West Institute of Technology building at Petroc College. The team have really gone above and beyond in challenging circumstances to get this project underway.
Our sustainability team provided consultancy advice for this project. The refurbishment is predicted to meet BREEAM very good standards, with the design focusing on ensuring lower running and maintenance costs to achieve a balanced approach to sustainable design. This is a significant improvement on the inefficient existing building.
Sustainable refurbishment is just one of the ways we are meeting the ambitions for #netzerocabon. We are passionate about this agenda and are continually developing to help our clients contribute to this journey.
The South West Institute of Technology building forms part of a wider regeneration of the Petroc College campus and we are extremely excited for the potential opportunities that lie ahead, continuing to build on our relationship with the college.
