Coreus Supports Exeter Chiefs Rising Stars

Coreus is proud to announce our sponsorship of two promising players from the Exeter Chiefs Rugby Team. One of our first projects here at Coreus was in fact the Courtyard by Marriott Exeter Sandy Park, meaning we take great pride in sponsoring these ambitious players!

Tony Rowe and the Exeter Rugby Group have been large supporters of ours since our inception, so we are thrilled to have the opportunity to reciprocate the support

Scott Moore, Regional Director said, “At Coreus, we’re committed to supporting the growth and development of our local community. That’s why we’re proud to partner with the Exeter Chiefs, a team that mirrors our core values of teamwork, excellence, and dedication.”

We caught up with our sponsored players Ehren Painter and Immanuel Feyi-Waboso at Sandy Park to discuss the sponsorship pass a few balls and learn more about their aspirations.

The Players

Immanuel, known as “Manni,” joined the Chiefs in October 2022, playing Centre/Wing. Ehren joined the team in March 2023 and shines as a Tight-head prop.

Manni’s concurrently pursuing a medical degree at the University of Exeter Medical School and aims to become a doctor and an international rugby player. Ehren, from a young age, aspired to play professional rugby, and now he’s living his dream with the Exeter Chiefs.

Coreus Sponsorship

We asked the players the importance of having Coreus as their sponsor. Ehren responded saying that it represents who the Chiefs and Coreus are – both young and ambitious. Coreus has been actively involved in various community projects, and the Chiefs are an integral part of the community. Manni expressed a personal connection to Coreus, having spent significant time at the Courtyard by Marriott Exeter Sandy Park, one of our first projects, where we acted as Cost Consultants.

As part of our sponsorship, the players will be visiting local schools to discuss rugby careers, with Coreus discussing construction career opportunities. This collaborative effort aims to inspire and raise awareness of the different opportunities available, with Manni discussing how rugby and studying can go hand in hand.

Courtyard by Marriott Exeter Sandy Park

Both players had the opportunity to stay at the hotel when they first arrived in Exeter, with Manni calling it home for close to a year! Their families stay there when they come to visit and they both raved about the excellent facilities, delicious food, views and comfy beds, especially Ehren who was pleased the beds are on the large side! They both exclaimed that the hotel was well used by fans for both the Chiefs and visiting teams, helping to boost the local economy.

We wish both players and the Exeter Chiefs the best of luck for the season!
