Located in the heart of the city, the iconic Royal Clarence Hotel is of huge importance to the people of Exeter. We are therefore incredibly proud to be the lead Cost Consultants for the restoration of this beautiful Grade II Listed landmark.
About the Project
Over the last 12 months, we have been carefully working with the expert multi-disciplinary design team, Historic England and Exeter City Council, holding detailed consultations and conservation talks. We are excited to now be at a point where we can share the proposals for the Community Consultation launch, which include a collection of 23 apartments, a large restaurant, a pub to replace the Well House and two function rooms. These plans will help restore the clarence to its former glory while bringing “a new lease of life” to Exeter’s cathedral yard.
