It’s official!

.

Yesterday’s announcement of the New London Plan revealed that large developments will now have to undertake Whole-Life Carbon assessments and Circular Economy statements.

.

As a company that champions sustainability through our extensive service offering, we can’t wait to get involved with more projects in the London region to help make the capital more sustainable.

.

Maxine Goodey, Sustainability Director said “The New London Plan is setting the example once again!  Super exciting to see the uptake of whole life cycle carbon assessments and circular economy statements. Collectively, the construction industry in the UK still has a long way to go to fully understand the embodied carbon impact of our buildings. However, delivering on the policies will go a long way to providing the keys to unlock effective reduction measures, innovation and technological advances in the future instead of relying on offsets to achieve carbon neutrality.  These policies will definitely help lead the way in the government’s ambitions for Net Zero by 2050”.
